I don't remember the first DSC (or at least I don't think I do).

What I do remember about my first couple of celebrations is the tall-tale contest. I was always fascinated by the stories. I kind of wish they'd bring that back.

I must have been 7 or 8 (maybe I do remember the first one?)….

I think I've been home for the Dyer Station Celebration every year (we did sneak off to the lake during the 4th once or twice), but I haven't missed many!
